False; voluntaryists make no such assumption. Voluntaryists believe that no matter how good or bad mankind is generally, anarchism would work better than compulsory government.
- If man is good, then the State is unnecessary.
- If man is bad, then States run by men only amplify the bad.
- Most voluntaryists consider mankind to be generally okay but with some bad folks, and consider how to deal with this realistic situation.
